Elf Owls




















I was delighted when Laura brought a box full of our old schoolwork and journals back from Grandma and Grandpa's. These particular pages are from my journal when I was 5 years old.

If you can't make out my spelling... the page says: 'Elf owls live in the desert. They live in cactuses and are very cute. Mum calls me her elf owl. '

Also...as you can see, some of my earlier artistic attempts. I had a rather obsessive fixation with owls.
